The 33rd Solar Return

Bottom Line: In spite of it all, I’m still here.

Doesn’t matter none where I’ve been.

Only matters some where I’m going.

What matters most is I’m here now.

And though I barely know what I’m doing,

I have nerve to get up and try anyway.

Because though most days are cloudy,

I know I’ll see sun someday.

I’ve made 33 trips around the sun,

And I was blessed just to be given one.

So I’ll remain blessed and keep on;

Another day, another song.
